We are Active Families North East and this is our project ‘Active Forever With The Well Bean Machine’. Based in the North East of England, our project and ‘Well Bean Machine’ is currently making its way around Sunderland. We are bringing exercise, activity and participation to local streets, communities, and neighbourhoods with our unique ground level approach. By making every connection count, we are targeting ageing well communities across the city, improving and sustaining physical & social activity levels. Six months into our project and we are already making a difference by engaging with over 3,000 local residents and encouraging them to participate. We are making impact with sustained pathways and a continual cycle to participation.
